DTC4500 Direct-to-Card Printer
The
Fargo DTC4500 printer and encoder is the workhorse of HID Global's
Fargo direct-to-card printer line. With its heavy-duty engine and
high-performance design, the printer is the number one choice for large
corporations and government institutions which need a robust and
reliable way to color personalize and program technology cards in high
volumes for more sophisticated and secure card applications.
High volume printing. With standard 200 card dual-input card hopper and high capacity ribbon.
Maximum security, future-proof versatility. Guaranteed
secure printing with built-in printer password protection , cost
effective and dynamic increase of security with optional fluorescent
ribbons for Ultra-Violet (UV) printing ; additional field-upgradeable
options for migration to higher levels of security.
Technology options. Field-upgradeable
modules encode data for proximity, magnetic stripe, contact and/or or
contactless technology cards, such as iCLASS®, for access control or
other applications.
Optional field upgradable card lamination. For
applying over laminates to produce tamper-proof, secure cards that
resist forgery; unique, high speed dual-sided simultaneous lamination
saves valuable time.
Easy integrated into existing IT infrastructures: With built-in standard Ethernet and USB connection, the DTC4500 allows for centralized or remote ID card issuance.
