In practice, it frequently happens that companies use several card layouts that do not need to be redesigned very often. Consequently, users of card-printing programs, rather than a designer-oriented interface, need a simply accessible window where they can quickly select a card layout, find the correct employee or student, take a photograph and print their identity card. In many cases, in-line electronic personalization must be done as well.  Besides functionality for loading cards, defining fast database connections with powerful filters, performing simple card management, printing directly to Windows printers, etc, it is now also possible to create an internal view or query. Furthermore, CardExchange 2.0 now includes its own card-layout designer.  From now on, issuing new identity cards will be done in a few seconds. 

Philosophy of Four Clicks 

In many situations within, for example, the Access control environments, there are many people that had problems with using card design programs because these applications frequently offer functionalities which are not almost necessary. Also frequently heavier demands were made to the connection with the available databases because here much confidential information became accessible for unauthorized person. Also these databases contain frequently enormous quantities of data as a result of which searching, for example names of employees or students, confiscated too much time. If new employees or students must be provided with a card, they need an urgent possibility to limit time for selecting the employee or student, making the photograph and printing a card. Also within a company, school or university, frequently several card layouts are used which obtain, however, their data from the same database and that resulted in opening the application more than once that resulted in a bad performance of the computer. In fact the actual user had been availed at simplifying and accelerating the most important operations. This resulted in four clicks interface, CardExchange; by a simple mouse click, you can put the correct personal data on your card design, take a picture of the person in question and send a print command to your card printer.
